Feedback

Some of our trainees have very kindly sent us feedback after doing CBT,Direct Access,125 tests, back
to biking, or rider improvement courses at our sites in Gloucester, Cheltenham or The Forest of Dean.

Recently a friend and I undertook a DAS course through your company, in the Gloucester area. Neither of us had ridden a motorbike before and espetially in my case I was  was somewhat apprehensive about it. Both my friend and myself passed our tests on the final day one after the other and neither of us even had one minor mark against us.
We would both like to thank our instructor Steve Guest for the way in which he handled our training as not only did he help us to pass our tests he also taught us some valuable skills which we will need as we continue to ride in the future. Overall we found the course fun, informative and extremely valuable as before that week neither of us even knew which sides the brakes were on. I have included the photocopies of our test sheets, as I think it must be very rare that two people in a row get 0 minors unless of course when they receive the excellent training we did.
Once again thanks for everything and keep up the good work.
Andy

Dear Steve,
Seven days ago we were in the British Legion car park, and I was haphazardly riding the 125cc in circles wondering if I would ever get the hang of it.
Two days after I was riding the 500cc in circles wondering if I would ever be able to handle one of my own.
Two days after that I had put the deposit down on my own 500 wondering if I would pass my test in time to ride it.
That afternoon I passed with few minors and picked up my bike the next day.
Today after clocking up 100 miles in less than two days on my own bike, under my own control I am wondering how it all happened.
Thanks to your knowledgeable tuition and experience, your good people skills, and your patience I am now a competent rider on the slow road to becoming an experienced rider. Hope to pass you by some day.
Many Thanks,
James Bridge-Williams.

Dear Steve,
I hope you're well.
I just wanted to say a huge 'Thank You' for my DAS experience. I really will remember those 5 days as some of the most intense, scary and joyful of my life!! I learnt so much in such a short time; I don't think I ever concentrated so hard even at school, university & work. The first time we rode a curve at speed was so exhilarating I could feel my heart in my mouth. You know exactly how to bring out the best in each of your riders & I'm certain it's this exceptional skill of yours that allowed me to pass my test first time.
I've since got a Kawasaki 500cc which I absolutely love. Riding out on my own was nerve-wracking at first but I'm never really alone as your voice continues to reverberate around my helmet: " Make progress Natasha!!"... "You took that bend far too fast!"... "Mirrors! Shoulder Check"... A few weeks on & I'm now a comfortable, confident and smooth rider and can't wait to getting many more miles under my wheels.
Please do feel free to use this - or any part - as a testimony for your site. On a personal note, I really did enjoy Yours, Pauls & Deans company during DAS week. Having spent 6 years TV-ing in London I really appreciate you all being so honest, genuine & kind
All the very best to you & your lovely family. Hope to see you again one day.

Hi Steve,
- just a short note to say thanks for the excellent training,
I'd recommend Acer to anyone contemplating motorcycle training - from CBT to DAS, conducted in a thoroughly professional manner, and made even more enjoyable by the anecdotes in between the biking lessons!
Since passing the practical, I've got hold of a decent Royal Enfield Bullet and have clocked up nigh on 500 miles in the first week. (The right hand side, one up three down gear change took a bit of getting used
to!) However, once accomplished the motorcycling experience is A++ - I only wish I'd taken it up years ago.
Hope all is well,
regards to everyone @ Acer.......Brendan

Steve,
Just a quick email to pass my thanks on for the excellent CBT and DAS tuition you gave me prior to successfully passing my bike test this week. The potentially daunting task ahead of me when I decided it was time to get a bike was made relatively stress-free, knowing that I was in the hands of a company with such a high pass rate. The whole package including bike, training, radio, advice, hints and tips was a good balance and ensured I felt positive throughout. The fact that the training was not just aimed at passing a test but also at the important and practical elements that will continue to aid me for years to come is important to me.
I would be only too-pleased for you to use this reference on your website in order to assure future Acer trainees of the high quality and practical nature of the training that they can expect.
You can be assured that I will be returning to Acer for further training in the future.
Regards and continued success with Acer.

Hi Steve, Bernie here!
I just wanted to thank you for all your extra specially hard work with me! With a few more lessons and more experience, I know I am going to pass my test on a 500!!! I am determined!!!
Let me know when you can fit me in and I'll come out for a couple of 2 hour lessons. (You'd better take a couple of headache tablets in advance!!!)
Hope to hear from you soon...please don't leave the country!!!

Hi Steve
I wanted to jot a few words of thanks to you and your team for the fantastic support and confidence you gave me in achieving a first time pass following my DAS course with you.
There was a lot of hard work but with the encouragement, variety of techniques and excellent humour you helped me to get through it and with only two minors on the day.
I hope others who are thinking of taking up motorcycling for the first time, like me are encouraged by the success you are continually achieving.
All the best on the 22 Oct in Weston I'll look for the results on the web page.
Thanks again.
Mike

I recently participated in a DAS course and would like to compliment you on the excellent tuition I received.
My instructor Steve Guest ensured I was fully equipped to deal with the practical test.
I feel fortunate to have been assigned an instructor who was able to pick up on every tiny mistake that I made and in doing so made sure I realised how to correct it.
Steve also gave invaluable advice on what it's really like to ride on today's roads.

Hi Steve,
Thanks for everything this week, the training was first class and I will definitely recommend you whenever I get asked.
Nick

Steve, I am writing to thank you and your team for the professionalism and effort put in by you all to get me through my DAS, Tony

Steve, Paul
Before I forget - just a quick thank you.
Thanks again for a great week, feeling shattered but very pleased.
Would just like to say great training, nice people, very relaxed, brilliant service!
I will definitely recommend to anyone who asks
Thank you again,
Paul

Dear Steve,
Just a quick note to thank you very much for nursing me through my DAS course last week. From CBT on Sunday right through to my test on Thursday you were patient and optimistic.
Being light hearted but thoroughly professional throughout helped us both relax. Hopefully Luke or I didn't give you too much of a headache!
I hope you continue to be a big success and I will always recommend Acer to anyone that fancies riding a bike.
Regards
Ian Wallace

Hey Steve,
I thought I'd send an e-mail to say thanks for a fantastic week.
My girlfriend bought me the DAS course as a Christmas present after deciding you looked the most professional riding school in Gloucester and I didn't regret her choice for a second during the whole week.
From my CBT on the Saturday where pulling off, braking, indicating and changing gear seemed beyond me to those damned U-Turns on Wednesday morning, your patience and words of encouragement never faltered. Thanks for giving myself and Paul a grilling out on the roads, because, as you said, the test on Thursday afternoon was a nice, easy, relaxing ride!
Hearing about your race antics and plans for future appearances on the road/track broke the riding up and lightened the mood when frustration was starting to set in.
You've definitely got a great attitude to your teaching and it made the whole week much easier. I hope you continue to have the success you deserve and I'll certainly be seeing you again as myself and Kate think that a bit of advanced riding tuition would be a good thing to do (Just as soon as I've got a bike!)
I'm going to be recommending you to anyone who considers any form of bike training in the future.
Anyway, thanks again
Ian Beddis

Hi Steve,
Just thought I'd send you an email to say thanks!
I was so chuffed to pass my test I can't tell you, I was really convinced I would not be able to do it!
I wouldn't have done it without your help and patience!
Thank you again,
Rebecca

Hi Steve
Thanks very much for Gemma's DAS course this past week; apart from the baptism of fire (or rain) on the Monday she loved every minute and is really please she passed, as we all are!
I definitely think I'll be doing the same now, I'm really tempted! Do you only do intensive courses or could I do lesson's as-and-when?
Thanks again.
Best regards
Rob

Hi Steve,
I've been meaning to get in touch with you for a while and say thanks and have finally got round to it! I had such a great time on my direct access course and you'll be pleased to know i still practice many of the 'good rider' techniques you taught me that went above and beyond test level. I have attached a picture of me in Tenerife three weeks after passing my test on a Yamaha MT-03. I now own a Kawasaki ZX-6R which i love to bits and have riden every day for the last year as i no longer own a car. I would never have believed it possible after all the tears and worries with those U turns! Thanks for giving me the confidence, i would recomend it to any other female (or male) riders any day. Hope you're enjoying some lovely biking in this weather.
All the best
 Kara
