Test Courses

We offer instructions on how to ride a motorcycle and courses for the Category A2 (125cc) and DAS (Direct Access)/Category A (500cc) motorcycle tests, mostly at the new Quedgeley Gloucester motorcycle test center.

We have a near 100% pass rate on tests, Steve Guest has been training Motorcyclists in Gloucestershire for over 10 years and it is very difficult to find anyone who has not passed first time, you can be sure we will always give 100%
We are the closest motorcycle training school to the new motorcycle test center in Quedgeley Gloucester and also Gloucesters longest running local motorcycle Training School.

125cc (Category A2) Test Courses

We offer one-, two- or three-day courses to prepare you to take the test on a 125cc machine. Prices include use of our motorcycles and fuel also CBT if needed.

  •  Training starts from ..............£30
  •  Test Training taken over 3 days, can include CBT..............£210 + dsa test fees
  •  Test Training taken over 4 days, can include CBT .............£310 + dsa test fees

Direct Access Scheme (DAS/Category A) Test Courses

We offer three or four day courses through the Direct Access Scheme to prepare you for your Category A test on a 500cc machine. Prices include use of our motorcycles, fuel, clothing and helmet if required, and CBT day if required.

  • Training starts from .................£30
  • Direct Access course to ride any bike taken over 4 days, can include CBT..........£320 + dsa test fees.
  • Direct Access course to ride any bike taken over 5 days, can include CBT......... £420 + dsa test fees.

Theory Tests

If you want us to book a theory test for you please add £60 to theprice of your test course.
This price includes loan of a CD ROM orTest Book to practice with.

Hourly Lessons

We can also offer hourly lessons on our bikes at £30 per hour - ideal for preparation before your test or a refresher if you're returning to biking - or if the intensive courses don't suit you and you would rather take things a couple of hours at a time.

Train by the hour, day or intensive course. As with all our courses, these prices include use of our motorcycles and fuel, clothing and helmet if required.
